SUCHO Meme Wall Konotop witches
In 1833, Ukrainian writer Hryhorii Kvitka-Osnovianenko wrote a story titled "The Witch of Konotop." After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia captured the city of Konotop. A video appeared in which a woman addresses a Russian soldier, saying, "Don’t you know where you are? You’re in Konotop. Every other woman here is a witch. You’ll never get an erection, starting tomorrow” (linked below). This video let the creation of several memes about the witches of Konotop.
