NATO (general)

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is an alliance of many nations in North America and Europe. Russian President Vladimir Putin has long expressed anger toward this organization, and the prospects of Ukraine joining NATO were one of the stated reasons for beginning the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Memes about NATO will usually either criticize the alliance for not engaging in war against Russia or will praise the organization for its relatively unified support of Ukraine's independence.
