Many memes concern Russian President Vladimir Putin, and his image in such memes is that of a feckless, bloodthirsty, and incompetent ruler. Memes about Putin will often either superimpose his face on other images or superimpose someone else's face on his own. A number of memes illustrate Putin's nickname “moth”. Memes are often about Putin alone, although many will include him alongside his allies, such as Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko or Chinese leader Xi Jinping.
