SUCHO Meme Wall Tucker Carlson interviews Putin
On February 8, 2024 Tucker Carlson, an American conservative political commentator and media personality, released an interview with Vladimir Putin on the Tucker Carlson Network and X (Twitter). The interview lasted over two hours and provided a platform for Putin to articulate his justifications for the Russian invasion of Ukraine and to critique Western policies. Carlson's approach was critiqued for not sufficiently challenging Putin's assertions. Memes about the interview often mock Putin’s almost 30-minute long summarizing of the history of Russia and allude to Carlson’s ensuing fatigue. Some memes also exploit the phonetic similarity between the names “Carlson” and “Karlsson”, a character from Astrid Lindgren's children’s book series and Soviet animated movies based on the books.
