Bach (Thomas)
Thomas Bach is a German lawyer and the current president of the International Olympic Committee, holding the seat since 2013 (link to his Wikipedia page below). He has come under criticism in relation to his stance on Russian participation in the Olympic games after the infamous doping scandal, in which Russian athletes were revealed to have taken banned performance-enhancing drugs. Particularly, he has been criticized for his support for Russia and Belarus to take part in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, despite their involvement in the war against Ukraine.
