Kivalov (Serhii)

Serhii Kivalov (1954-) is a Ukrainian politician and lawyer, author of the law on the protection of the Russian language, former supporter of Yanukovych and head of the Ukrainian Central Election Commission during the Orange Revolution. During the shelling of Odessa by the Russian Armed Forces on April 29, 2024 he was wounded. The memes featuring Kivalov often make fun of the fact that a pro-Russian politician was injured by “a friendly fire”.
