Elon Musk is a businessman and the head of Twitter, SpaceX and Tesla (link to his Wikipedia page below). In the early days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he was praised for offering satellite internet to Ukraine, in the face of Russian bombardments of Ukrainian infrastructure. He has since come under criticism for appearing unsupportive of Ukraine’s cause in the war, notably when he was accused of speaking with Russian President Vladimir Putin and then posting a Twitter poll about how to resolve the conflict. Memes about Musk will tend to highlight either his support of Ukraine or his friendliness with Putin.
