SUCHO Meme Wall Scholz (Olaf)
Olaf Scholz has been the chancellor of Germany since December 2021 (link to his Wikipedia page below). Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, he has been both criticized for not showing as much support to Ukraine as other world leaders have and praised for his role in supporting Ukraine. He has come under much scrutiny for his decisions either to block or delay the transfer of military equipment (namely Leopard tanks) to Ukraine, sometimes even blocking the transfer from another foreign country to Ukraine. Memes about Scholz will often highlight this aspect, and many will imply that he is a coward for refusing to aid Ukraine fully. On the other hand, Scholtz is being praised for his role in assuring a vote in favor of European Union membership talks for Ukraine by proposing to Viktor Orban to leave the room during the voting.
