Stoltenberg (Jens)

Jens Stoltenberg (born 1959) is a Norwegian politician who has served as the Secretary General of NATO since 2014. Prior to this role, he had a long career in Norwegian politics, including two terms as Prime Minister of Norway (2000-2001 and 2005-2013).Stoltenberg has been a key figure in coordinating NATO's response to Russia's actions in Ukraine, both before and after the 2022 invasion. He has overseen the strengthening of NATO's eastern flank and the historic expansion of the alliance to include Finland and Sweden.
