Guest from the Future (Soviet film)

Guest from the Future (Russian: Гостья из будущего) is a 1985 five-part Soviet children's science fiction television miniseries based on Kir Byulychev's 1978 novel One Hundred Years Ahead (Russian: Сто лет тому вперёд). Memes using stills from this film come in two categories: one features the main character, Alisa, a time-travelling girl, responding to the late Soviet era schoolchildren's questions about the future, both their personal and their country's. Her answers are always blunt and predict devastation for Russia, its leadership and the children (who are to perish in the Russo-Ukrainian war). The other category of memes feature two characters: a schoolboy with the last name Gerasimov and Verner the Robot from the future, played by actor whose actual last name is Gerasimov. Memes featuring the two Gerasimovs were used to comment on news about Yevgeny Prigozhin (who was known for his screaming videos demanding ammunition from Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation), and later, to express ideas about Russia’s future devastation as a result of the war (predicted by the Verner the Robot).https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086723/?ref_=fn_all_ttl_4
